Desde dezembro, é possível ver horários publicados no aSc TimeTables Online e também em iPhones/Androids. Também é possível entrar com planos/presenças diárias diretamente do seu smartphone.

Este ano as principais alterações estão voltadas para o módulo de substituição, mas há coisas novas no aSc TimeTables e aSc TimeTables Online. Então, vamos começar com o aSc TimeTables:

O que há de novo na versão 2012

Atribuição mais rápida de salas de aula.
Era possível antes também, mas agora há um jeito direto de especificar que algumas salas são usadas por determinadas disciplinas ou professores:

Aulas à tarde
É possível especificar que algumas aulas podem ser tarde, significa que elas podem estar fora do bloco de ensino regular. Isso permite que o software possa colocá-los em posições que criará as lacunas para os alunos, é claro que você pode limitar quanto tempo tolerar estas lacunas.

Testando o horário escolar
Testar o horário escolar agora suporta também testes de alunos individuais. Então o teste agora pode identificar se há algum problema fundamental com certos alunos. O teste está também mais rápido em alguns casos.

O gerador de horários com base em aluno foi melhorado.
O gerador funciona como antes, mas depois de terminar ele também tenta melhorar automaticamente o resultado após a geração.

Capacidades de aula
As capacidades de aula e contagens de estudante podem agora ser exibidas nos cartões, o software mostra também aviso visual no caso de você manualmente ultrapassar a capacidade.

Exibindo cursos
O modo padrão de exibição do horário agora pode ser alterado, especificando o tipo de escola. Para horários com base em escolhas do estudante, ele pode exibir todos os cursos em uma linha, ou cursos em mais linhas para cada grau.

Novo relacionamento entre cartões
É possível especificar, por exemplo, esse professor não terá mais de 3 aulas consecutivas, mas ele pode ter 2 duplas (4 no total) ou esse grupo de alunos deve ter certos professores em disciplinas eletivas.

What’s new in aSc Substitutions 2012

The user interface was redesigned.
We liked the old interface for its simplicity, but it was now time to move on.

We believe the new interface will provide more smooth operation and still be familiar to all users who were already accustomed to the previous version.
Substitutions - Quick overview

Speed up for bigger schools
While most schools were not affected, there were certain issues that made the software slower in bigger schools. This has been addressed.

Adding a new lessons
It is now possible to add new lesson in the substitutions.

Substitution based on the groups
It is now possible to specify that certain group is missing. Not just the whole class. The software also suggests transfers based on the groups now.

Lesson with multiple teachers/classrooms
If you have lessons with more teachers, it is now possible to specify exactly which teacher will be affected. In general its still advised to have the lessons defined in the original timetable by the groups, but if you have these joined lessons already this will make things clearer.

TimeTable assignment overview
New dialog now provides more detailed information about what timetable are you using on which day. You can change the days, weeks, terms here easily. So if your timetable changes a lot over the year, this dialog will be for you.

Print preview customization
- now shows the font sizes on the fly also with number

What’s new aSc TimeTables online 2012

Smartphone support
You can now use IPhone/Androind to view the timetable substitution information and you are using it, your teachers can also input daily plans and attandace on their smartphones.

Attendance
Attendance can now be inputted both from web and smartphone. The teacher can input the attendance directly on the lesson, classteacher can approve or disapprove anytime later and school administrator can see statistics for the whole school.

Exams/event planning
Teachers can plan the exams for each class so they are not all on the same day.

Room booking
You can now use TimeTables online to let your teachers do rook booking. Each teacher can book certain room in advance:
