Once you specify the absent teacher the software will show the lessons this teacher was teaching in the middle part of the main screen.

1. Click any lesson and the right part will show you candidates to substitution this lesson. Teachers are sorted so the one at the top position is the best candidate for substitution.
2. Double click on any line in the right part of the screen to select the teacher for the substitution.
3. A dialog appears where you can confirm the substitution:
