Explanation of codes

aSc Timetables registration codes consist of 3 parts:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-YY-ZZZ

The last part is optional, so some codes have this form:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-YY

Meaning of the parts:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX: This part is actual code.

YY: This part denotes max version number for which the code is valid. Examples:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-08-ZZZ: Valid up to version 2008
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-09-ZZZ: Valid up to version 2009
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-ZZZ: Valid up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-11-ZZZ: Valid up to version 2011
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-12-ZZZ: Valid up to version 2012
....
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-99-ZZZ: Valid for any version

ZZZ: This part can contain one or more letters. Each letter means some module which user has purchased or some other function.

M: aSc Mobile Timetables
D: room supervision (duties)
P: premium version
C: computer license. See below for details
L: primary school version
H: high school version
A: Apple Mac version
E: expiration date. See below for details

Note: Some module codes are valid only for specific country/region/vendor.

Computer license

Computer license codes works only on that computer. Code is linked to license number, which you can see in menu - Help - Info under "License".

Expiration date

If code contains leter E in last part ZZZ, it means that this code will expire on some date. To determine this date, you have to check two digits that follow letter E. These digits together with version number from YY part of the code specify expiration date:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-09-E01: Valid till end of 01/2009 and up to version 2009
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-09-E02: Valid till end of 02/2009 and up to version 2009
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-09-E03: Valid till end of 03/2009 and up to version 2009
...
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-09-E11: Valid till end of 11/2009 and up to version 2009
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-09-E12: Valid till end of 12/2009 and up to version 2009
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E01: Valid till end of 01/2010 and up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E02: Valid till end of 02/2010 and up to version 2010
...

Because new aSc Timetables versions are usually released in a year before version number (e.g. version 2008 was released in year 2007), we support also codes for next year versions.

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E89: Valid till end of 01/2009 and up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E90: Valid till end of 02/2009 and up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E91: Valid till end of 03/2009 and up to version 2010
...
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E99: Valid till end of 11/2009 and up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E00: Valid till end of 12/2009 and up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-11-E89: Valid till end of 01/2010 and up to version 2011
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-11-E90: Valid till end of 02/2010 and up to version 2011
...

Here is a list of some special codes expiring in middle of year (June):

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-10-E94: Valid till end of 06/2009 and up to version 2010
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-11-E94: Valid till end of 06/2010 and up to version 2011
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-12-E94: Valid till end of 06/2011 and up to version 2012
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-13-E94: Valid till end of 06/2012 and up to version 2013
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-14-E94: Valid till end of 06/2013 and up to version 2014
...

Note: to calculate expiration date for these codes, you need to subtract 88 from two digits after E to get exipration month number. Year number is always the year before version number. Example:
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-11-E90
Month: 90-88 = 2
Year: 11-1 = 10
Expiration date: 2/2010
