I want to have periods running from top to bottom, not from left to right (available in version 2009)

There is one central setting that can swap the layout of timetables for ALL printouts. Go to global settings and choose that lessons shall go to top from bottom:



All the printouts will be changed accordingly. You can define what shall be printed in rows and colums more precisely in the topic Modify the structure of the printout.
